Method
Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with aluminum foil for easier cleanup. Place a wire rack on top of the baking sheet.
Prepare Marinade: In a bowl, whisk together honey, soy sauce, sriracha, garlic powder, ginger powder, paprika, cayenne pepper, and sesame oil until well combined.
Season the Wings: Pat the chicken wings dry with paper towels. Season them with salt and pepper to taste. This helps them to crisp up in the oven.
Marinate Chicken: In a large bowl or resealable bag, combine the chicken wings with the marinade. Toss well until the wings are thoroughly coated. Allow them to marinate for at least 30 minutes (or up to overnight in the fridge for more flavor).
Bake the Wings: Place the marinated chicken wings on the wire rack in a single layer. Bake in the preheated oven for 40-45 minutes, turning halfway through, until they are golden, crispy, and cooked through.
Glaze and Broil: For an extra sticky glaze, remove the wings from the oven after baking. Brush them with any remaining marinade and broil for an additional 3-5 minutes until caramelized. Watch closely to prevent burning.
Garnish and Serve: Once out of the oven, garnish with chopped cilantro and a sprinkle of sesame seeds. Serve hot with your favorite dipping sauce, like ranch or blue cheese dressing.
