Method
In a medium saucepan, bring 5 cups of water to a boil.
Once boiling, remove the pan from heat and add the black tea bags and crushed cardamom pods. Steep for about 5-7 minutes.
While the tea is steeping, place the sliced plums in a blender and puree them until smooth. If you prefer a chunkier texture, blend them for a shorter time.
After the tea has steeped, strain it into a large pitcher to remove the tea bags and cardamom pods.
Stir in the plum puree and honey while the tea is still warm, allowing the flavors to meld. Taste and adjust sweetness if necessary.
Let the tea cool to room temperature, then refrigerate for at least 2 hours or until chilled.
To serve, fill glasses with ice cubes and pour the chilled Plum Cardamom Tea over the ice.
Garnish each glass with fresh mint leaves and a slice of lemon.
