In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat.
Add the minced garlic to the skillet and sauté for about 1-2 minutes, until fragrant, but not browned.
Stir in the red pepper flakes and lemon zest, cooking for an additional minute to release the flavors.
Add the shrimp to the skillet, season with salt and pepper, and cook for 2-3 minutes on each side or until they turn pink and opaque.
Pour in the lemon juice, stirring to combine all the flavors, and let it simmer for another minute.
Remove from heat and sprinkle with fresh chopped parsley for a burst of color and flavor.
Serve immediately with lemon wedges on the side for extra zing.
