In a large mixing bowl, combine the drained and rinsed chickpeas, diced cucumber, cherry tomatoes, and chopped red onion.
In a separate small bowl, whisk together the Greek yogurt, minced garlic, dill, lemon juice, olive oil, salt, and pepper until smooth and well combined. This will be your tzatziki dressing.
Pour the tzatziki dressing over the chickpea mixture and gently toss everything together until the salad is evenly coated.
Taste and adjust seasoning if necessary, adding more salt, pepper, or lemon juice as desired.
If using, sprinkle crumbled feta cheese over the top of the salad and give it one last gentle toss.
Cover the salad with plastic wrap and let it chill in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes to allow the flavors to meld.
Before serving, garnish with fresh mint leaves for an extra burst of flavor.
