Ingredients

1 pound ground pork

1 tablespoon soy sauce

1 tablespoon sesame oil

1 tablespoon ginger, minced

2 garlic cloves, minced

1 tablespoon chili paste (adjust to your heat preference)

2 green onions, finely chopped

1 package wonton wrappers (typically 50-60 wrappers)

1 egg (for sealing the wrappers)

Salt and pepper to taste

Oil for frying (or broth for boiling, if preferred)

Instructions

In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground pork, soy sauce, sesame oil, minced ginger, minced garlic, chili paste, and chopped green onions. Season with salt and pepper. Mix well until all ingredients are fully incorporated.

Place a wonton wrapper on a clean surface. Scoop approximately 1 teaspoon of the pork filling into the center of the wrapper.

Dip your finger in water and moisten the edges of the wrapper. Fold the wrapper in half diagonally to form a triangle, pressing firmly to seal. To ensure a tight seal, you can pinch the edges or fold the corners up for a more decorative shape.

Repeat the process until all the filling is used. You may need to cover the completed wontons with a damp kitchen towel to prevent them from drying out.

In a large skillet or pot, heat oil over medium heat (for frying) or bring a pot of water to boil (for boiling).

            - Frying: Once the oil is hot, gently add the wontons in batches. Fry for about 3-4 minutes on each side, or until they are golden brown and crispy. Drain on paper towels.

              - Boiling: Drop the wontons gently into the boiling water and cook for about 3-4 minutes, or until they float to the top, indicating they are cooked through. Use a slotted spoon to remove them.

Serve hot, with a side of soy sauce or a spicy dipping sauce for added flavor.
