Ingredients
1
cup
pumpkin puree
1
cup
cream cheese, softened
1
cup
powdered sugar
1
teaspoon
vanilla extract
1
cup
heavy whipping cream
1
package (14 oz)
chocolate sandwich cookies, crushed
1
cup
gummy worms
1
cup
candy corn (optional)
to taste
fresh mint leaves for garnish (optional)
Instructions
In a mixing bowl, combine the pumpkin puree, softened cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract. Beat until smooth and fluffy.
In another bowl, whip the heavy cream until stiff peaks form. Gently fold the whipped cream into the pumpkin mixture until fully combined.
In serving cups or small jars, layer the bottom with a layer of crushed chocolate cookies to mimic the dirt.
Follow this with a layer of the pumpkin mixture, spreading it evenly over the cookie crumbs.
Repeat the layers: add more crushed cookies on top of the pumpkin, followed by another layer of the pumpkin mixture.
Finish with a final sprinkle of crushed cookies to create a dirt look on top.
Decorate the top with gummy worms, placing them so they appear to be crawling out of the dirt.
If desired, add a sprinkle of candy corn for a pop of color and additional sweetness.
Garnish with fresh mint leaves for a touch of greenery if using.
Notes
Optional candy corn and mint leaves can be used for decoration.
