Prepare the Peach Syrup: In a small saucepan, combine 1 cup of water and sliced peaches. Bring to a simmer over medium heat, stirring occasionally.
Once the peaches start to break down (about 5-7 minutes), add the granulated sugar. Stir until the sugar is completely dissolved.
Remove the saucepan from heat and let it cool slightly before straining the syrup through a fine sieve or cheesecloth into a bowl. (Press down on the solids to extract more flavor from the peaches.) Set the syrup aside to cool completely.
Mix the Lemonade: In a large pitcher, combine the fresh lemon juice and the remaining 3 cups of water. Stir well.
Add the chilled peach syrup to the pitcher and mix until fully combined. Taste and adjust sweetness if desired by adding more sugar or syrup.
Chill the lemonade in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes before serving.
Serve: Fill glasses with ice cubes and pour the Peachy Zesty Lemonade over the top. Garnish with fresh mint leaves for a refreshing touch.
