Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
In a large mixing bowl, combine the all-purpose flour, grated Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, dried oregano, salt, and black pepper. Mix well to incorporate all the dry ingredients.
Add the shredded mozzarella cheese to the mixture and stir until evenly distributed.
Crack the large egg into the bowl and mix until a sticky dough forms. If it's too dry, add a tablespoon of water at a time until you can form it into balls.
Take small portions of the dough and roll them into bite-sized balls, about an inch in diameter.
Place the breadcrumbs in a shallow dish. Roll each cheese ball in the breadcrumbs until fully coated, then place them on the prepared baking sheet.
Lightly spray or drizzle olive oil over the tops of the cheese balls to help them achieve a golden brown color while baking.
Bake in the preheated oven for about 15-18 minutes, or until the bites are golden and crispy on the outside.
Remove from the oven and let them cool for a few minutes before serving.
Notes
Serve warm, garnished with fresh parsley or basil on a platter with a side of marinara sauce for dipping.
