Method
In a large skillet or frying pan, heat 2 tablespoons of olive oil over medium heat.
Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant, being careful not to burn it.
Toss in the broccoli florets, and season with salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes. Sauté for 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the broccoli is tender but still vibrant green.
Push the broccoli to one side of the pan and add the remaining tablespoon of olive oil to the empty side.
Place the shrimp in the pan, sprinkle with lemon zest, and cook for about 2-3 minutes on each side, or until the shrimp turn pink and opaque.
Squeeze fresh lemon juice over the entire dish and give everything a good toss to combine.
Remove from heat and garnish with chopped fresh parsley before serving.
