Method
Start by washing the cherry tomatoes and basil leaves under cold water. Pat them dry with a clean towel.
Prepare the skewers by alternating between a cherry tomato, a basil leaf, and a mozzarella ball.
On each skewer, repeat the pattern, creating a stack that consists of 3 sets of tomato, basil, and mozzarella, or until the skewer is filled (about 3 inches long).
Arrange the finished skewers on a serving platter.
In a small bowl, mix the olive oil with salt and pepper to taste; drizzle this mixture onto the skewers.
Finish the skewers by drizzling balsamic glaze over them for a touch of sweetness and acidity.
Optional: For added freshness, you can sprinkle additional chopped basil on top before serving.
