In a medium bowl, combine the minced garlic, lemon zest, lemon juice, chopped parsley, chopped basil, dried oregano, red pepper flakes (if using), olive oil, salt, and pepper. Mix well to create a marinade.
Add the shrimp to the bowl and toss to coat evenly with the marinade. Let it marinate for 15-20 minutes to absorb the flavors.
Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Once hot, add the marinated shrimp in a single layer, making sure not to overcrowd the pan.
Cook the shrimp for about 2-3 minutes on one side until they turn pink and opaque. Flip them over and cook for an additional 1-2 minutes on the other side.
Remove the skillet from heat and garnish with extra fresh herbs if desired. Serve immediately.
