Instructions
Preheat your oven to 300°F (150°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
In a mixing bowl, separate the egg whites from the yolks. Place the egg whites in a medium bowl and the yolks in a larger bowl.
Add the softened cream cheese to the egg yolks and mix until well combined and smooth.
In the bowl of egg whites, add the cream of tartar and a pinch of salt, then beat with a hand mixer until stiff peaks form (about 3-5 minutes).
Gently fold the beaten egg whites into the cream cheese mixture using a spatula; do not overmix to preserve the airy texture.
If desired, incorporate garlic powder or herbs into the batter for added flavor.
Scoop the mixture onto the prepared baking sheet, forming 6 equal rolls. Use the back of a spoon to smooth the tops.
Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the rolls are golden brown.
Allow the cloud bread rolls to cool for a few minutes on the tray, then transfer them to a wire rack to cool completely.
Notes
Serve warm with butter or cream cheese. Garnish with fresh herbs for extra flavor.
