Instructions
Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
In a medium-sized mixing bowl, combine the ricotta cheese, lemon zest, and a pinch of salt. Mix until smooth and creamy.
Spoon the ricotta mixture into a small oven-safe dish, spreading it evenly.
In a separate bowl, combine the honey, red pepper flakes, and olive oil. Mix well until the ingredients are fully incorporated.
Pour the hot honey mixture over the ricotta layer in the dish, ensuring to cover it evenly.
Bake in the preheated oven for about 15-20 minutes, or until the edges are bubbly and the top is slightly golden.
Remove from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes. Drizzle with any extra honey if desired.
Season with freshly cracked black pepper and a touch more salt before serving.
