Begin by preparing your ingredients. Wash and peel the baby carrots if they aren't pre-cleaned.

Remove the lid, season with salt and pepper to taste, and continue cooking for an additional 2-3 minutes, allowing the sauce to thicken slightly and coat the carrots beautifully.
Remove from heat and transfer the carrots to a serving dish.
