Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
If using store-bought pizza dough, allow it to come to room temperature. Roll the dough out into a rectangle about 1/2-inch thick.
Cut the dough into strips roughly 1-inch wide and 5 inches long. Take each strip and tie it into a simple knot, tucking the ends underneath. Place knots onto the prepared baking sheet.
In a small bowl, whisk together the melted butter, minced garlic, dried oregano, red pepper flakes (if using), and a pinch of salt.
Brush the garlic butter mixture generously over each knot. Ensure they're well-coated for maximum flavor.
Bake in the preheated oven for about 15-20 minutes or until the knots are golden brown.
Remove from the oven and immediately sprinkle with grated Parmesan cheese and chopped parsley for a pop of color and flavor.
