Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
If using store-bought pizza dough, let it sit at room temperature for about 30 minutes to soften.
On a lightly floured surface, roll out the pizza dough into a rectangle about ½ inch thick.
Cut the dough into strips approximately 1 inch wide and 5-6 inches long.
Take each strip and tie it into a knot, tucking the ends underneath to secure it. Place each knot on the prepared baking sheet.
In a small bowl, mix the melted butter, minced garlic, oregano, basil, garlic powder, and a pinch of salt and pepper.
Brush the garlicky butter mixture generously over each garlic knot using a pastry brush.
Bake the knots in the preheated oven for 15-18 minutes or until they are golden and puffed.
Once out of the oven, brush with any remaining garlic butter and sprinkle with chopped parsley and grated Parmesan cheese if desired.
Serve warm, and enjoy your delectable garlic butter herb knots!
