4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts

6 tablespoons unsalted butter

6 cloves garlic, minced

1 teaspoon dried thyme

1 teaspoon dried rosemary

1 teaspoon smoked paprika

Salt and pepper to taste

2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped

1 lemon, juiced

1 cup chicken broth

Instructions
 

Begin by seasoning each chicken breast with salt, pepper, smoked paprika, thyme, and rosemary on both sides.

    In a large skillet over medium-high heat, melt 3 tablespoons of butter. Once melted, add the seasoned chicken breasts and sear for 6-7 minutes on each side, until golden brown and cooked through. (Internal temperature should reach 165°F/74°C).

      Remove chicken from the skillet and transfer to a plate; cover with foil to keep warm.

        In the same skillet, lower the heat to medium and add the remaining 3 tablespoons of butter. Once the butter has melted, add the minced garlic. Sauté the garlic for about 1-2 minutes until fragrant, stirring continuously to avoid burning.

          Pour in the chicken broth and lemon juice, scraping up any browned bits from the bottom of the skillet (this adds great flavor!). Bring the mixture to a simmer.

            Return the chicken to the skillet and let it simmer in the garlic butter sauce for 5 minutes, allowing the flavors to meld.

              Just before serving, sprinkle the chopped parsley over the chicken and sauce for a pop of color and freshness.
