Instructions
In a small bowl, whisk together the matcha powder and hot water using a bamboo whisk or a small frother until smooth and frothy. Make sure there are no lumps for a uniform texture.
In a small saucepan, heat your milk over medium heat. If you prefer a frothy latte, you can also use a milk frother or steam the milk for a creamier texture. Be careful not to let it boil.
Once the milk is heated, add the maple syrup (or honey), vanilla extract, and a pinch of sea salt to the milk, stirring gently to combine.
Pour the warm milk mixture into a large mug or cup, and then slowly add the whisked matcha on top.
Stir gently to blend the matcha and milk together until well incorporated.
If you like, top your latte with whipped cream or frothed milk and a sprinkle of cinnamon or cocoa powder for the finishing touch.
