In a food processor, combine the drained chickpeas, tahini, minced garlic, lemon juice, ground cumin, and salt.
Pulse the mixture a few times until the ingredients start to blend.
While the processor is running, slowly drizzle in the olive oil. Continue blending until smooth.
If the hummus is too thick, add water a tablespoon at a time, blending until you reach your desired consistency.
Taste and adjust seasoning as needed, adding more salt or lemon juice according to your preference.
Transfer the hummus to a serving bowl and use a spatula to create a swirl on the surface. Drizzle with a little extra olive oil and sprinkle with paprika and chopped parsley for garnish.
