Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
In a shallow dish, mix together the breadcrumbs, grated Parmesan, Italian seasoning, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Set aside.
In another shallow dish, beat the eggs until well combined.
Place the flour in a third shallow dish and season with a little salt and pepper.
Take each chicken breast and dredge it in the flour, shaking off the excess.
Dip the floured chicken into the beaten eggs, ensuring it's well coated.
Finally, press the chicken into the breadcrumb mixture, covering both sides evenly.
Place the coated chicken breasts on the prepared baking sheet and bake in the preheated oven for about 25-30 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through and the coating is golden and crispy.
In the last 5 minutes of cooking, switch the oven to broil for an extra crisp on top, keeping a close eye to prevent burning.
Once done, let the chicken rest for a few minutes before slicing. Serve warm with marinara sauce drizzled on top and garnish with fresh basil leaves.
