Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
Prepare the Lobster Tails: Using kitchen scissors, cut the top shell of the lobster tails down the middle. Gently pull the meat away from the shell, keeping it attached at the base. Lift the lobster meat slightly for a better presentation.
Make the Garlic Butter Sauce: In a medium saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant, but do not let it brown.
Add Cream and Seasonings: Slowly add the heavy cream, stirring to combine. Then mix in the paprika, red pepper flakes, salt, and pepper. Continue cooking for 2-3 minutes until the sauce thickens slightly.
Baste the Lobster Tails: Place the prepared lobster tails on a baking sheet, flesh side up. Generously spoon the creamy garlic butter sauce over the lobster meat, ensuring it’s well coated. Reserve some sauce for drizzling later.
Bake the Lobster Tails: Bake in the preheated oven for about 12-15 minutes, or until the lobster meat is opaque and firm.
Broil for Extra Color: For a beautifully golden finish, switch your oven to broil and cook for an additional 1-2 minutes, watching closely to prevent burning.
Serve: Remove the lobster tails from the oven and drizzle with any reserved garlic butter sauce. Garnish with freshly chopped parsley and serve with lemon wedges on the side for an extra kick of flavor.
