2 lobster tails

1/2 cup (1 stick) unsalted butter

4 cloves garlic, minced

1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes (adjust to taste)

1/4 cup heavy cream

Zest of 1 lemon

Juice of 1/2 lemon

Salt and freshly cracked black pepper to taste

2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions
 

Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).

    Carefully split the lobster tails in half lengthwise using a sharp knife, exposing the meat but keeping it attached at the bottom. Place the lobster tails on a baking sheet.

      In a medium saucepan, melt the butter over low heat.

        Add the minced garlic and red pepper flakes to the melted butter and sauté for about 1-2 minutes until fragrant but not browned.

          Stir in the heavy cream, lemon zest, and lemon juice. Allow the mixture to simmer for 3-4 minutes, stirring occasionally until it thickens slightly.

            Season the creamy garlic sauce with salt and freshly cracked black pepper to taste.

              Pour half of the garlic butter sauce over the lobster tails, making sure it's evenly coated.

                Bake the lobster in the preheated oven for about 10-12 minutes until the meat is opaque and cooked through.

                  Halfway through baking, remove the lobster tails and drizzle the remaining garlic butter sauce over them to keep them moist.

                    Once done, remove from the oven and garnish with fresh parsley.
