Begin by cooking the spaghetti in a large pot of salted boiling water according to the package instructions. Once al dente, reserve 1/2 cup of the pasta cooking water and then drain the spaghetti.
In a food processor, combine the ripe avocados, minced garlic, fresh basil leaves, lemon juice, and olive oil. Blend until smooth and creamy. Add salt and pepper to taste. If the mixture is too thick, gradually add a bit of the reserved pasta water until you reach the desired creamy consistency.
In a large mixing bowl, combine the drained spaghetti with the creamy avocado sauce. Toss well to ensure all the pasta is evenly coated in the sauce.
If desired, adjust the seasoning with more salt, pepper, or lemon juice.
Serve the creamy avocado pasta immediately in bowls, topped with halved cherry tomatoes and a sprinkle of grated Parmesan cheese if desired.
