Method
In a blender or food processor, combine the ripe avocados, cocoa powder, maple syrup, almond milk, vanilla extract, and a pinch of sea salt.
Blend on high speed until the mixture is completely smooth and creamy, scraping down the sides as needed to ensure everything is well combined.
Taste the mousse and adjust sweetness as desired by adding more maple syrup if preferred. Blend again if you add more.
Once smooth, transfer the mousse into serving bowls or cups.
Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to allow the flavors to meld and the mousse to set.
Before serving, top each mousse with fresh berries and sprinkle with shaved dark chocolate for an extra touch.
