Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
In a mixing bowl, combine the shredded chicken, cream cheese, mozzarella cheese, diced green onions, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Mix well until all ingredients are fully incorporated.
Unroll the crescent roll dough and separate it into individual triangles.
Take one triangle and place about 2 tablespoons of the chicken mixture in the center of it.
Fold the sides of the dough over the filling and roll it up to form a secure bundle. Pinch the seams to seal the mixture inside. Repeat this process for all triangles.
Place the filled chicken bombs on the prepared baking sheet, ensuring they are spaced apart.
Brush the tops of the chicken bombs with the beaten egg to give them a beautiful golden color as they bake.
Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes or until the dough is golden brown and crispy.
