Instructions
In a medium mixing bowl, combine the chickpeas, cream cheese, Greek yogurt, Buffalo sauce, lemon juice, garlic powder, and smoked paprika.
Using a fork, mash the chickpeas and mix the ingredients until smooth and well combined, but still slightly chunky for texture.
Season the mixture with salt and pepper to taste, adjusting the heat level by adding more Buffalo sauce if desired.
Transfer the dip into a serving bowl and sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese on top if using.
For an extra layer of flavor, broil the dip in the oven for 5-7 minutes until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
Garnish with chopped green onions before serving.
