Method
In a small saucepan over medium heat, add the blueberries and cook for about 5 minutes, stirring occasionally until they start to break down and release their juices.
Remove the saucepan from heat and strain the blueberry mixture through a fine-mesh sieve into a bowl, pressing gently to extract as much juice as possible. Discard the solids.
In a separate jug or blender, combine the milk, strained blueberry juice, honey (or maple syrup), vanilla extract, and a pinch of salt. Blend or whisk until well mixed and frothy.
Taste the mixture and adjust the sweetness if desired by adding more honey or syrup.
Pour the blueberry milk into glasses and, if you’re feeling indulgent, top with a dollop of whipped cream.
