Method
Start by preparing the butterfly pea flower tea. Steep 1-2 teaspoons of dried flowers in hot water for about 10 minutes until it has a rich blue color. Strain and let it cool.
In a blender, combine the blue spirulina powder, coconut water, lime juice, and honey (if using). Blend until smooth and frothy.
Take a glass and fill it with ice cubes. Slowly pour the spirulina mixture over the ice, filling the glass halfway.
Next, gently pour the cooled butterfly pea flower tea over the back of a spoon, allowing it to float on top of the spirulina layer. This will create a beautiful gradient effect.
Optionally, garnish with fresh mint leaves on top for an extra pop of color and flavor.
Serve immediately and enjoy the layered visual and refreshing taste!
