Start by preparing your ingredients. Slice the avocados, tomatoes, and mozzarella into even slices for a uniform presentation.
On a large serving plate, begin layering the salad by alternating slices of avocado, tomato, and mozzarella. Start with avocado, followed by a slice of tomato, and then a slice of mozzarella. Repeat until all ingredients are arranged in a circular pattern or in a straight line as preferred.
Take a few fresh basil leaves and tuck them in between the layers for a pop of color and flavor.
Drizzle the balsamic reduction over the entire arrangement, followed by a drizzle of extra virgin olive oil.
Season your salad with a sprinkle of salt and freshly cracked black pepper to enhance the flavors.
